Shih Tzu
The room photos show the 18 × 24 in size. Smaller sizes are proportionally smaller.
Framing it yourself? Every size is a standard frame size (8×10, 11×14, 16×20, 18×24 and 24×36 in), so a ready-made frame from any frame shop fits. Frames are not included; the poster is sent rolled in a tube.
How big is it? See it above a sofa
Drawn to scale: the sofa is about 2 m wide. Dashed outlines are the other sizes.

Who is behind it
- Each portrait is created with AI image generation in a watercolour style, then checked by a person for the breed's head, ears and coat colour before it goes on sale.
- Printed on archival matte paper by Today's Graphics in Philadelphia, close to where it is delivered.
- We are a new shop, so there are no customer reviews yet and we would rather say so than invent any. If the poster arrives damaged or wrong, we reprint it at our cost. How returns work

There are hundreds of photographs on your phone and nothing on the wall. A photograph catches the second they sat still. A portrait can show the shape of the head, the set of the ears and the colour they really were.

The Shih Tzu is the only dog in this gallery bred for no job whatsoever. While every other breed here was herding, retrieving or going down holes after something, the Shih Tzu was in a palace being carried: a companion to the Chinese imperial court and nothing else, for the better part of a thousand years. It shows. They are small without ever being timid, stubborn in the particular manner of someone who has never once been told no, and entirely certain that the warmest seat in the house was set aside for them.
The portrait was made with AI image generation in a watercolour style and checked by a person before it went on sale.
The portrait shows the chrysanthemum face, with the coat parting in every direction and dark round eyes somewhere behind it.
Coat colourways: Gold, Black, Gold and White and Liver.
