Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Sable & Ochre website and any purchase made through it. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Who you are dealing with
Sable & Ochre is a studio based in Sweden. Our full trader details — legal name, address, registration numbers and contact address — are shown in the footer of every page and on our contact page. Swedish law applies to these terms, and to any contract made under them.

Our products
Every piece is an original watercolour-style portrait, created using AI image generation trained on traditional watercolour technique, then individually reviewed and curated by us before it's made available as a digital download or a printed archival poster. Colours may vary slightly between what you see on screen and the final printed piece, due to normal differences between digital displays and print.

Orders and pricing
All prices are shown in your local currency where available, converted from our base price in Swedish kronor (SEK). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel an order (with a full refund) if something is priced incorrectly.

Your right to change your mind
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, EEA or the UK you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on prints bought from the collection. How it works, and the two narrow cases where it does not apply, are set out in full in our refund policy. To use it, go to Withdraw from contract here. Nothing in these terms limits that right or any other right you have as a consumer under Swedish law.

Intellectual property
All artwork remains the property of Sable & Ochre Purchasing a digital download or physical poster grants you the right to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes (printing, framing, gifting) - not to resell, redistribute, or use the image commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability
Sable & Ochre is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of our products. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory Swedish consumer protection law.

If we cannot resolve something
Tell us first — email happypaws.company2026@gmail.com and we will try to put it right. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a complaint, you can refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes — Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations.

Free, independent advice is also available from your local municipal consumer adviser (konsumentvägledare) and from Hallå konsument at hallakonsument.se.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU or EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in.
